Become an Ambassador
Championing Awareness. Elevating Voices. Changing the Narrative.
Ambassadors play a vital role in helping CCI Support bring visibility, understanding, and compassion to people living with ME/CFS, Long COVID, Fibromyalgia, Post‑Viral Syndromes, and Dysautonomia. As an ambassador you help ensure that those who are often unseen or misunderstood are represented, valued, and heard.
Ambassadors are public advocates who use their voice, influence, and networks to amplify our mission and strengthen community understanding of complex chronic illness. You use your time, platform, and connections, not your finances.
Ambassador Role
Ambassadors help expand awareness and support by:
- Raising awareness — sharing accurate information about these conditions through personal networks, social media, interviews, and events.
- Supporting campaigns — participating in awareness and fundraising campaigns, sharing their story (if they choose), and encouraging others to engage.
- Speaking publicly — mentioning CCI Support in interviews, podcasts, or public speaking opportunities to educate audiences and highlight the realities of invisible illness.
- Engaging with stakeholders — representing CCI Support in conversations with health professionals, policymakers, and community leaders to advocate for better recognition, funding, and care.
Ambassadors are not required to take on a heavy workload — their greatest contribution is their voice, authenticity, and willingness to stand beside a community that is too often overlooked.
If you are ready to be the voice for the voiceless and bring visibility to the invisible — we would love to talk with you.

why do we exist?
At Complex Chronic Illness Support, we understand the unique struggles and uncertainties that come with managing chronic illnesses. That’s why we’re committed to providing comprehensive assistance and a supportive community for individuals and their loved ones every step of the way. CCI Support, is more than just an organisation; it’s a beacon of hope and understanding for those facing the challenges of chronic health conditions.
Our mission is clear: to empower individuals with chronic illnesses to live their lives to the fullest by offering a range of resources, educational materials, and emotional support. From connecting members with healthcare professionals to providing access to specialised treatments and therapies, CCI Support is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by chronic health conditions.
We exist for members like Renee who says: “CCI Support has been a God send to me in my situation. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (MECFS) can be a complex and often misunderstood condition, leaving you with many questions and feeling alone and isolated on your journey to wellness. CCI Support have been an incredible support. Joining CCI Support online groups has made me realise that I’m not alone and by listening to others experiences I have learnt a lot.”
And Fiona who adds: “When I was first diagnosed with FM and ME/CFS, 16 years ago, I was told there was no cure, and it would be lifelong. This was overwhelming and soul destroying. However, CCI Support enabled renewed hope and ability to find meaning. I was able to regain control of my life through appropriate symptom management and pacing strategies and make long-lasting friendships through our local social group. Although my life has not turned out the way I had hoped or planned, I have found meaning living in the present, and that is thanks to CCI Support.”
Complex chronic illness can adversely affect normal everyday living, impacting on school and work attendance. It is the leading cause of school absence. So, the earlier an individual is diagnosed the better their chances of seeking treatment, establishing pain and symptom management plans, and preserving quality of life. It also arms them with knowledge which enables them to make informed decisions about their care and support needs.
