Kia Ora and a warm welcome to our lovely Wellington members!

I cannot believe how quickly this year is flying by, and I am hopeful that the next coming months we will see some more sunshine in our beautiful capital city.

I know that covid has created such disruption with our daily lives and we must adjust to a new normal, but I am crossing my fingers that we will be able to regain a little bit more normality and organise some face-to-face members meetings when our covid wave continues to go down. For now, our online members meetings are a great place to be! We have been discussing some interesting  topics, and it would be awesome to see many of our lovely members there.

It has been so wonderful to meet some of you over the phone (and in person) and I am really enjoying building the relationships. I have particularly enjoyed attending the coffee meetings organised by our lovely Frances, who is always so warm and generous with her time. I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of you sometime soon, either over the phone or hopefully when we can meet in person again. It has certainly been a busy few months settling into the role, but everyone has made the transition incredibly enjoyable, and I really appreciate you all letting me walk alongside your health journeys and being so open and honest with me.

I hope everyone is keeping well, and I look forward to catching up with you all very soon!
