Thank You to Our Community – Together We’re Making a Real Impact
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our first two matched‑giving pledges. Thanks to your generosity, both the $1,500 (from Board/Staff, Family & Friends) and $500 (from anonymous donor) pledges were fully matched, meaning together we raised $4,000 — and additional donations have continued to come in since. We are incredibly grateful for the way our members and the wider community have rallied behind us.
Our first silent auction was also a wonderful success, raising $881.89 in total — with $640 coming from bids on donated items and the remainder through separate donations. It was a joy to showcase the creativity and talent within our community, and we are so appreciative of everyone who contributed items, placed bids, or helped spread the word. All items have been couriered to the winning bidders with thank you emails sent.
We still have items generously donated and ready to find their new homes, which means we can launch a second silent auction in May as part of ME/CFS Awareness Month, culminating on World ME Day, May 12. We’ll share more details soon.
Thank you again to our community for standing with us, recognising the importance of the work we do, and helping ensure we can continue supporting people with complex chronic illnesses for the next 45 years and beyond.

We want to keep the momentum going so are also seeking additional matched donors: individuals or businesses willing to pledge an amount that will be used to match public donations. $500 or $1,000 can unlock significant impact.
