Here we are at the start of Winter. The trees still holding their colours and the nights are really only just starting to cool down in the Bay of Plenty.
It’s been a busy few months in the CCI Support offices. We have had Phil join the team as the Eastern Bay of Plenty and Lakes District (Rotorua / Taupo) Facilitator. Phil has had a long relationship with CCIS and has been our mindfulness coach in Tauranga for quite some time. So we welcome him aboard.
As of this week, we have a new President on the CCI Board as Keith steps down (still will hold the treasurers hat) and our amazing Fiona steps into the role, albeit temporarily for now. Fiona is an amazing advocate for people with ME/CFS and is also the President of the ANZMES Board. We also welcome Prue McCallum to the Board. Prue works in Innovation and Improvement at the BOP DHB. I for one am really looking forward to having her contribute to the CCIS team.
The Towards Wellness Hub had hit a few snags, however, we managed to revive it and the team were in the Studio this week filming it. It’s now ‘in the can’ and under the production teams hands. The website is almost prepped and we are hoping to launch it as soon as we can.
May is a big month for ME/CFS. Next week with have Dr Vallings speaking online with us and then on the 12th May we are Join ANZMES online for talks from Dr Anna Brooks, Professor Warren Tate, Dr Vallings (our session) and a client perspective. It is very exciting. More information to come via email. Keep warm, Keep safe.
