Welcome from the Mighty Waikato.

Gosh, what a storm we have just had over the last few days!! I haven’t seen
wind like that for a long time. I hope your property was not damaged. At least
our chook shed didn’t get blown over this time.
Signs of spring are starting to show, bringing the hope of warmer weather.
I was at a garden centre the other day and they have a Felix Jury tree there in
full bloom. I counted about 6 Tui’s in the tree feeding off the nectar. It was a
sight to behold, and the song was a delight. It stopped me in my tracks, and I
was mesmerised for ages.

Ahh, yes… bring on spring!! However, we all know that spring can bring
unsettled weather too, so if your body acts like a barometer, I hope you are ok.
If you are noticing unexplained fluctuations in your symptoms, the unsettled
weather could be a reason. COVID is still doing its rounds too, so do keep
testing if your symptoms turn to a head cold with a runny nose, sore throat,
extra or new type of fatigue, fever, altered sense of taste or no taste. I also
understand that stomach upsets are part of the recent strain too, so if
diarrhoea or vomiting is present, ensure you do a RAT test.
