Hi everyone!

Rhiannon here. We have had a fantastic autumn, with nice, clear sunny days. I’ve been enjoying the changing leaves. It’s officially soup season; some easy meals are soups or stews. Anything you can throw in a pot, the oven or a slow cooker and leave. It can be harder to remember to keep up fluid intake as we head into the colder months. Herbal teas or even warm water can be a good way to do this.

Sleep can be a difficult and elusive thing to grab hold of, but it is so important for the body to be able to clear itself. One important process that occurs during sleep is that the brain will undergo “pruning” to clear unused pathways.

Our next in-person group will be held on the 8th of June at 1:30 pm at the Elmer Turner Library. This is a chance to build connections in-person with other members, hear others’ stories and share some yourself.

We look forward to continuing our connection with you this year, and either I or one of my colleagues will be in touch over the next few months. Remember, our website has countless resources in the members’ section. Please reach out to the admin on 0800 224 787 if you need help accessing this area of the website.

Please reach out if you need to.

Rhiannon
