Hello to all our lovely members and welcome to all our new members that have come onboard.
It certainly has been and continues to be challenging time navigating our way through Covid restrictions and now with Covid in the communities. I know many of our members are being extra safe and isolating at home during this time. I know this can be isolating with lack of social gatherings and connecting with others. Please connect with other members online on our Facebook page, we are all here to support each other.
It so lovely to see so many members from all over New Zealand join our members meetings online and continue to join Annabelle’s breathing practices on our Facebook page. Timely reminder during these challenging times, to have good stress management plans in place and continue daily breathing/meditation practices.
We would love to set up and have social/coffee group gatherings in all the regions across New Zealand and are looking for volunteers in the regions to help organise these gatherings to take place. Please let me or Annabelle know if you are interested in volunteering.
May is World ME Awareness Day, and to help raise awareness in New Zealand, we are asking members if they would like to share their ‘lived experience with ME/CFS’. If you would like to be share your story, please contact me for more details.
Lastly, please take extra good care of yourselves during this time and please get in touch if you need support. We are here to support you in the best way that we can.
