Kia ora everyone
I have recently taken over from Roisin as National Health & Wellness facilitator, looking after our members who are based in areas of New Zealand where there isn’t a local Facilitator.
I have really enjoyed hearing from you since I began this role in early November, and I am looking forward to connecting with many more of you in the coming months. It has been great to see you active on our private CCIS Facebook group page too.
“Silly season” is quickly approaching, and it is a good time to practice pacing strategies that we recommend so avidly to our members. Getting some “energy in the tank” in the weeks leading up to Christmas and the New Year can be really beneficial. If you would like me to email or post you out some reading about pacing please just email me at [email protected]. If you can, try to join in on our monthly members meeting on 13 December to hear more from Tracey about pacing. Another good thing to remember is that it is okay to set boundaries around others expectations of you over this time too. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or to share the load with loved ones.
Wishing you all a safe and relaxing Christmas season, Tania
