Spring weather has certainly made its presence known, it certainly can be 4 seasons in one day!
We’re excited to share some recent team updates. In September, the team gathered for an inspiring training and planning session in Tauranga, focusing on our goals for the coming months and how we can continue to improve support for our members.

We’re also marking some heartfelt farewells. Tracey, who has dedicated over a decade to working with people with ME/CFS in the Waikato region, is stepping down to focus on her own health journey. Her compassionate service and unwavering commitment have impacted countless lives, and she will be dearly missed. We wish Tracey all the best on this new path and hope she knows she will always have a place in our community.

Additionally, we are saying goodbye to Jo, who has been an essential part of CCI Support’s funding management team for the past three years. Her diligence and passion for securing resources have been invaluable, helping to sustain our programs and services. We are deeply grateful for her
contributions and wish her every success in her future endeavours.

We’re pleased to welcome Beverly to the team, stepping into the Grant Writer role previously held by Jo. We are excited to see how she will help us grow. If you know anyone who embodies the spirit and energy of fundraising and would be interested in making a difference, please do reach out—we’re always looking to strengthen our support network.

October was Dysautonomia Awareness Month, and we want to extend a huge thank you to Kaye and the team for their fantastic work in educating the public on social media. The informative posts they shared have been instrumental in raising awareness about dysautonomia and the challenges that come with it. Thank you, Kaye and team, for helping us shine a light on this often-overlooked condition.
