Kia ora and welcome from the mighty Waikato!
Brrrr … Cooler nights and mornings are now well upon us, as is expected now that we are well into the depths of autumn. Although I’m not enjoying the cooler weather, I do love this time of year for the beautiful hues of colour that nature offers.
Now is a good time to remind you to start your Vitamin D. A precious little vitamin that is made by the body when we are exposed to good sunlight, but now as the days get shorter and cooler, our opportunity to get into the sunlight becomes significantly reduced. Vitamin D offers a whole raft of benefits: Helping pain and mood, supporting immune health and cardiovascular health, to name just a few.
May is a big month for us here at CCI Support. We have the opening of our new offices in Welcome Bay and it is also ME Awareness on the 12th May. Thank you to those who have provided quotes, poems and brief
videos that we can use in our campaign to bring awareness to the general public. This is a great way to have your voice heard!
Our online social groups are going well. We have a variety of different groups to suit our different member’s needs. Please have a look on our website for a description of the different groups with the dates and times. If you are interested in joining in on any, let me know and I will add your name to the list so that you can get the link to the zoom meeting.
And lastly, thank you to those who have renewed your membership. I look forward to ongoing conversations with you over the next 12 months.
